Over the coming month, the rising first graders will make their first “official” entrance into the worship service in the sanctuary and participate in worship class!
This past Sunday, rising first graders began attending worship and were recognized at the beginning of the worship service. Following worship, they and their families had lunch and then took a more in-depth tour of the sanctuary, worked on using a bulletin and a hymnal, talked about why we worship, and created worship bags.
Let’s make them feel welcome and recognize the ways that their presence enhances the worship experience for all of us!
