The Poetry of Scripture

It is no coincidence that the language of God in scripture is most often written in poetry and not prose. This subtle
shift in form opens up our imaginations to infinite possibilities of inference, reflection, and depth. Over these three
weeks, Scott will lead us as we consider the use of poetry in scripture, and pair scripture with contemporary poems
to explore the ways in which these extra-biblical voices can enhance and enrich our experience of the gospel.
