September 28 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Monday, repeating until October 12, 2020

Shameless

Facilitator: Lida Caraway

Negative messages about sex come from all corners of society, and as a result, countless people have suffered pain, guilt, and judgment. In a style of writing similar to Anne Lammott, Nadia Bolz-Weber unleashes her critical eye, and her strong yet vulnerable voice on the harmful conversations about sex that have fed that shame.

Participants can expect to read challenging words about their own spiritual education regarding sex, and to discuss them with their small group.

This group will meet on Mondays at 6pm in the Great Hall (10 peopel or less). Each group will be filled on a first come, first serve basis – so sign up today!

The reading assignment for September 21 is the Invocation, Sanctus, and Creation I.

The cost of the book is $14.
