What is the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Mississippi?
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Mississippi is one of the organizations financially supported by Northminster through the Denominational Relations Committee.  The purpose of CBF Mississippi is “to share the love and Gospel story of Christ in freedom, cooperation, and integrity, driven by our authentic Baptist heritage.”

What will happen at the Fall Assembly?

Friday, October 12
5:30 p.m. Registration and Supper
7:30 p.m. Worship with Guest Preacher Dr. Kevin W. Cosby

Dr. Cosby is Senior Pastor of St. Stephen Church in Louisville, KY, and President of Simmons College of KY.  He has held administrative and teaching assignments at Kentucky State University, the University of Louisville, the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and United Theological Seminary.

Saturday, October 13
9:00 a.m. Coffee and donuts followed by various workshops
12:00 p.m. Lunch and annual business meeting
2:00 p.m. Concert by Claire Holley

Claire Holley grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, and has enjoyed singing ever since she was a little girl. She began writing songs in college and has released seven full-length records + two EPs. Her music has been featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition as well as in films & TV shows. She lives in Los Angeles.
